I graduated in Biology from the University of Malaga and continued my training at the University of Granada where I completed the Master's Degree in Conservation, Management and Restoration of Biodiversity and, later, the Master's Degree in Secondary Education . Currently, I work in the field of urban entomology, studying how arthropod communities are modified in the urban environment. In this line, I have managed to publish my first article, the result of my first Master's Thesis, where we highlight the importance of University Campuses for the biodiversity of beetles and butterflies in Granada, thanks to the granting of a Research Initiation Grant. In addition, I have also worked on the creation of an educational collection of urban insect biodiversity, as part of my second Master's Thesis, and which has been presented at some informative events such as the European Researchers' Night (2023) or an exhibition organized by our team on the occasion of the celebration of Cities Day. As a future project I am going to start a Doctoral Thesis in the field of urban ecology, studying mainly the ecological interactions between urban arthropods.
