I began my PhD in May 2025, focusing on the trophic interactions of urban arthropods within the context of Mediterranean urbanization. I hold a degree in Biology from the University of Málaga, a background I furthered with a Master’s in Biodiversity Conservation, Management, and Restoration and, subsequently, a Master’s in Secondary School Teaching.

My publications highlight the importance of urban green spaces (university campuses) for the conservation of biodiversity among arthropod groups like beetles, butterflies, and spiders. Currently, my lines of research analyse the effect of land-use change (urbanization) on arthropod diversity, the alteration of biotic interactions, and the preservation of ecological functions.

Research lines:

  • Entomology

  • Urban Ecology

  • Trophic interactions
