Graduated in Biology from the UGR in 2006 and Master in Agricultural Biology and Aquaculture in 2008.

After completing my undergraduate studies, I worked at the Historical Museum of Natural Sciences at the IES Padre Suárez for two years, carrying out all kinds of restoration, identification and recording tasks. I obtained an FPU scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Science in 2007 with which I began my Doctoral Thesis (supervised by Dr. Felipe Pascual) on the impact of the type of management of the olive grove on the entomofauna associated with it, which I was able to defend in 2018.

For almost all of this time I have been combining research with my other great passion, teaching. I have had the opportunity to work for several years in Secondary and High School, teaching all kinds of subjects related to science. Since 2013 I have been teaching at the La Inmaculada Teacher Training Centre, affiliated with the UGR, in the Early Childhood Education and Primary Education degrees (subjects related to the teaching of Experimental Sciences). I am currently also the Secretary of the Centre. Finally, since 2019 I have been combining this activity with teaching in the Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary, High School and Vocational Training at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR), where I teach the subject of 'Educational Innovation and Initiation to Educational Research', tutor internship students and direct Master's Final Projects.
